It was our last day in Quebec City and we had a full day of sightseeing ahead of us, we wanted a somewhat hearty breakfast and finding the right place is not always an easy task. There are not many fast food places in the walled city of Quebec and if you want something specific it may take some searching.
Fortunately for us, it did not take too long when we found Le Delice du Roy just down the street from our hotel (Auberge Saint-Antoine). This restuarant is a small and cozy diner, in a Quebecois sense, located right in the heart of Bass-Ville (Lower Town).
We walked in and were given a fixed rate of $13 for our breakfast meal, which some may think is a bit expensive, but it was Easter morning and the food was plentiful and delicious. Breakfast included orange juice and coffee to drink, and for food, scrambled eggs, hash browns, a slice of bacon, ham and sausage, a croissant and a fruit salad to top it off. It was well worth the price and satisfied us for the entire day of travelling. It was definitely a good find and enjoyable.
