The two main tour operators available in Quebec City are Dupont Tours and Excursions Touristiques. Both offer city and country tours. The tours range anywhere from 2 hours all the way up till 6.5 hours and some destinations cross over so it is important to choose what you want to see and pursue that.
The particular tour that we went on was called the Country Tour. The tour included a bus tour through the Island of Orleans, Montmorency Falls, Ste-Anne-de-Beaupre, the Copper Art Museum and the Musee de L'abeille, which was a small place where they make wine out of honey. This tour was 4.5 hours and it cost $39.
We thought it was well worth the money seeing that you are driving to several different locations across the outskirts of the city. Also, doing this trip on your own would cost you each time you wanted to see something, so in a sense you are buying a package deal for the day, and you are hassle free of driving and worrying about directions.
Overall, I significantly enjoyed the country tour, after two days of walking all over the city, the country tour gave me a chance to sit back, relax and see sights as they came to me. It was a great activity to do on our last day.
