Planetarium de Montreal

Address:1000 rue St-Jacques
Telephone #:514-872-4530
Web site:http://www.planetarium.montreal.qc.ca/

A place one can go to see the stars in the heart of downtown Montreal; the Montreal Planetarium, with its 20 metres in diameter hemispherical dome, offers visitors insights to the night sky and other astronomical wonders. Having been around now for over 40-years, the planetarium has educated students and adults with its multimedia presentations that change with the seasons. Shows alternate in both English and French and typically run for about 50-60 minutes.

The cost normally is around $8 for adults, but being a student or a CAA member can get you a discount. Overall, to spend an evening learning something new while you gaze in amazement at the stars always makes visiting the planetarium worthwhile.

NOTE: The planetarium is looking to move to a new location in the somewhat near future. Pay attention to its web site for the latest news.
