Located right in the heart of the action on Lincoln Road in Miami/South Beach sits Soprano's Cafe, a hardy Italian restaurant, which is situated among many other boutique restaurants on the street.
It's difficult to pick a dining venue when choosing a restaurant on Lincoln Road because there are so many places lined up one after the other, and in front of each restaurant are staff promoting their own dishes, so the choices are truly endless. After walking around for an hour on Lincoln we chose Soprano's Cafe.
The menu and wine attracted me personally. Purchase two meals and you get a free bottle of house wine, how can you beat that right? I especially love drinking wine with my dinner, and just because it was a house wine didn't mean it lacked in quality, which is what some usually perceive. There was a beautiful patio outside where we sat, and with it being "winter time" in South Florida when we visited, the heat lamps that surrounded the patio were a nice added touch that kept us warm while we ate. I had the lobster ravioli, which was delicious and Michael had the mushroom linguini, which according to him was also delicious. The menu didn't just feature pasta though; there was plenty of variety, including fresh cuts of various meats.
Overall, we had a great evening out here at Soprano's, and the bill wasn't too steep, which is always a bonus. One thing to also note and pay attention to is that they add tips into the bill, so check the bottom of your bill to verify this before paying.
Although sometimes it's difficult to decide where to eat, the key is to pick something that you know you will like and looking for good deals doesn't hurt either. For those who want to arrive in style, this restaurant also offers a free limo service to and from your hotel. What else can you ask for! I would definitely come back here.
