For those willing to try their luck, Niagara Falls boasts 2 casinos about 15 minutes (walking) apart:
Casino Niagara - 5705 Falls Avenue
The older of the two casinos, which has two floors of gambling, including standard tables and lots of slots. A poker room is available and also sports betting. Various dining and lounging options are also available. I find this casino to have more reasonably priced tables available. If you are a club member (which is free), you also get free covered garage parking, which is a perk.
Fallsview Casino and Resort - 6380 Fallsview Boulevard
New, the Fallsview casino is close to the foot of the falls and has a high-rise hotel, following the casino resorts in Las Vegas. A more sophisticated design, with boutique shops and a nice water sculpture in the main lobby, this casino normally has higher priced tables in comparison to its brother. One long floor of gambling with tables and lots of slots exists. A modest poker area and dining and lounging options are available. The Avalon Theatre also hosts frequent shows, as well as the nightclub that rounds out this resorts repertoire.
The two resorts offer a shared advantage club membership, which is free to join and offers rewards and perks the more you play.
