If you want a grand view of Las Vegas, and a delectable meal to accompany it, Alize is a model choice for dining off the Las Vegas Strip. Not too far from the Strip, its location is atop the Palms Hotel, and it overlooks the Las Vegas strip, which makes it a romantic choice for evening dining.
The restaurant has three sides of full-length windows which gives you a grand panoramic view of the surrounding city. We came here to celebrate our engagement and it was the perfect place to fit all the romantic cliches. The food is very well presented and the portion sizes are fulfilling. A window seat gave us a perfect view of the city, but I think any seat, as it's a small restaurant, would be just as good. The whole restaurant had a total of 20 tables, which gives it a cozy feel, but getting a window seat makes it all the more luxurious.
Service is also outstanding, from the moment you take a sip of water and it gets refilled to the moment you come back from the ladies room and the server is there waiting to seat you again. It truly was an impeccable dining experience.
Menu items change slightly throughout the seasons, but for the most part you will be able to find fish, steak, chicken and many other choices ranging anywhere from $30 to $50 a plate, all cooked fresh and delicious. There is also a 5 course tasting menu for $95 and a 7 course tasting menu for $125.
As long as you're not worried about thinning your wallet a little, Alize is an impressive choice for dining in Las Vegas.
